Growing up in South America, Anne & Anichi got in touch with salsa at a very young age. In April 2007, they won the Salsa Open in Karlsruhe. In October of the same year, they won 1st place at the European Salsa Championships in England. This qualified them to participate at World Championships in Orlando, Florida, finishing as one of the top ten in the finals.
